Farmers Market Manager

Working for a growing local small business has been such a rewarding experience. This position has allowed me to participate in the Farm-To-Fork movement by bringing our Farm-To-Oven products to local farmers markets. As Farmers Market Manager I perform all day-to-day operations to ensure the success of our Farmers Market Salespeople, and daily workflow of the bakery. I am responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training Sales and Prep Staff, processing and full-filling whole-sale and online orders, auditing packaging and overall quality of our products, ingredient and supply inventory and ordering, entering and maintaining customer loyalty and market sales, scheduling, and some marketing design.

Operations Lead

 I started working at the bookstore in 2014 as a cashier. Since then, I have advanced to guest services, then to cash office, and now to Operations Lead. At the bookstore we function as a team; encouraging and supporting each other.

Being an Operations Lead means being self motivated, accountable, and being ready to jump into any situation to keep the store going. Working 

Coursework

 with and leading the Operations Team has been such a rewarding experience because of the work environment of mutual respect, empathy and continuous improvement we've created.

Skills:

-Hiring, interviewing, training, and scheduling over 150 employees.

-Orchestrating financial day-to- day operations including daily sales logs, cash over/short investigations, bank deposits, and wall balancing.

-Managing the cash office, guest services, and cashier departments of the store.

-Troubleshooting any and all issues that arise relating to the store and serving as liaison between student and career staff

Community Nutrition (NUT 118)

Conflict management and communication, program planning and evaluation, behavior change and promotion, adult education, policy advocacy, community and cross cultural challenges.
